There are many ways for those interested in Elgg to get involved with the project and not all of the required tasks need you to be able to code, here are a list of ways you can help out.
- Help translate Elgg into your language
- Help write documentation for Elgg. If you are not technically inclined, you can contribute user documentation
- Contribute any plugins you commission back to the community
- Build plugins or themes and contribute them back to the community
- Report bugs and if you can, submit patches for the bugs
- Help others in the community discussions
- Share your experience in building/maintaining an Elgg powered site including how you built it and what lessons were learnt in the process.
- Spread the word about the project
